Report App for Online Sexual Harassment in Korea
Hand in hand is a mobile application for reporting Online Sexual Harassment in South Korea. It is for the female international students who struggle with the language barrier. It supports and encourages them to use the app for reporting and counseling too.

Background
Numerous women’s movements have been appearing and Me-Too movement was successfully breaking the silence but, the silent victim still sexists. A lot of crimes have not been solved and were forgotten, so the government update the laws and set up women associations to help the victims. However, still have a shadow in the system.

Research
The online sexual harassment cases are increasing every year in
South Korea. It mainly happened in an online anonymous community
and group chat such as in school and workplace. A lot of women
associations and school associations help the victims, but only a few
centers support English and the other languages. People exposed to
news and YouTube about their experience, and the government do not
announce the official online sexual harassment in Korean Universities statistic.

Problem
Most of the help centers are Korean, they served less English services. The number of foreigners keep growing up, especially students. They cannot solve the legal issues easily because of the language barrier such as reporting crimes. Some cases have used the vulnerability of foreigners to commit crimes.
Solution
I designed a mobile app, specifically a reporting app. It works together with the Korea Sexual Violence Relief Centre. Hand in hand is a middle person between the users and the police. Besides that, the users will have counseling immediately for their condition after reporting. Furthermore, they can join the community base on their nationality.
